SVS Learn: Perspective.
Today I started a class on SVS Learn about perspective. It is fairly basic. A couple of things that I thought were really good were the implied perspective. Shapes that are bigger, appear closer. Shapes lighter in color appear closer. Shapes that overlap appear closer. Things you think you know, but how he explained it not only made sense but I might remember it better.
And then I learned a Photoshop tip that I didn’t know.
Grab the brush tool.
Draw a dot.
Press the shift key and click somewhere else on the canvas and you will get a straight line from dot to cursor. I’m so excited.
I only ever knew that if you held down the shift key, you would get a straight line parallel to one side of the canvas.
This tip makes drawing perspective lines so much better! I am giddy with glee. I’m drawing straight lines at lots of different angles. So excited!.
Every in person class I have taken, I come away with what I call the $65 piece of advice. This might be my $65 piece of advice.
